White space shown when the menu is in vertical (browser window in restore mode)

When the browser is in Restore Mode the menu shows in vertical and there is lot of white space created (marked in red in the image – https://mcv-training3.com/calendar/menu/white.jpg). How to reduce the whitespace?

If the browser is in full window, it shows correctly (sample image – https://mcv-training3.com/calendar/menu/right.jpg)
