After more testing I see it happens in following scenario:
1. tap .sub-arrow to expand a top level dropdown
2. while this one is opened tap and open another top level dropdown
2a. in that second dropdown expand a submenu – it opens for a second and it self closes and also closes parent submenu.

It may not happen at first but try several tapping and it will happen for sure. After the first occurrence it happens every time afterwards.
