Hi there,

Am a beginner in HTML , so I am trying to use your amazing menus with a very simple html page, wherein I have images which should server as top menu, however when i put in the code, the position of these menu is outside the table and fixed, how can i change the position and also how can i change the background color of submenu items.

Kindly let me know asap.

Hi,

To learn how to position your main menu in a table cell, please take a look at the following section in the User's Manual ("manual.html" in the download package):

"4.10 Embedding a main menu in a table cell or a DIV on the page"

As for changing the colors of the menus/items, you will have to edit the settings in the style arrays for the main menu "MM" and for the sub menus "SM" in the second section "(2) MENU STYLES (CSS CLASSES)" of the configuration file "c_config.js".

Hey Vasil,

Congrats for the amazing solution, you are younger then me but you've already made a mark for yourself

The problem now I am facing is tht I've got code in table which is centered however when I put the code of smartmenu it works fine but shows it away from table in some other corner, ive set the position to relative in config.js file, but just doesnt seems to work, i can set position using absolute but then it will not work on different browsers.

Shall I email you the files if you can have a look at.
