First off, let me say that I am very pleased with the latest release of SmartMenus and plan to move to v. 5.5 once I complete more testing.

I am looking to others to see if you have had any experiences like the following. I find that SmartMenus 5.5 works well with Macintosh OS 10.x and Internet Explorer v 5.23 (the last release for OS 10) and I also find that 5.5 works well using a combination of Macintosh OS 9.1 and Internet Explorer 5.1.7 (the last IE release for Macs priors to OS10). One coworker also got good results with Mac OS8.x and IE v. 4.something (yikes - better upgrade this one!)

However I find that SmartMenus 5.5 did not perform well with a combination of SmartMenus 5.5, Macintosh OS 9.1 and Internet Explorer 5.0 - admittedly there aren't too many setups like this anymore.

Has anyone else run into problems with the scripts using some version of IE for the Macintosh?

Any comments positive or negative are appreciated.
