Jean Prevost (--> http://www.classicwebdesign.com) (Loon in this forum) has written a wonderful article in which she shares her personal experience with generating her menu definitions by pulling the content from a MySQL database.
I think it may be useful to anyone who wants to do the same thing but still doesn't have a clear idea how to achieve it. Here's a link to the article:
